Restrictions on plant protection products (PPPs): PPPs may only be applied to open land if it is used for agricultural, forestry, or horticultural purposes. For applications on other areas (so-called non-agricultural land such as courtyards, garage driveways, and footpaths) or on paved surfaces, you need an exemption permit from the plant protection service responsible for your area (§ 12 para. 2 of the Plant Protection Act). The application of glyphosate-containing plant protection products is prohibited: 1. on unsealed surfaces paved with slag, chippings, gravel, and similar materials (paths, squares, and other non-agricultural land) where there is a risk of direct or indirect runoff into bodies of water or sewers, drainage systems, street drains, and storm and wastewater sewers, unless the responsible authority prescribes an application method with the permit that ensures that there is no risk of runoff. 2. Directly adjacent to surfaces sealed with concrete, bitumen, paving stones, slabs, and similar materials (paths, squares, and other non-agricultural land) where there is a risk of direct or indirect runoff into bodies of water or sewers, drainage systems, street drains, and storm and wastewater sewers, unless the competent authority prescribes an application method in the permit that ensures there is no risk of runoff. Product description: This is how you make your garden weed-free: with the Permaclean herbicide from Protect Expert, you can tackle existing weeds and unwanted grasses down to their roots. This allows you to eliminate unwelcome guests such as creeping buttercup, nettle, knotweed, fool's parsley, and dandelion. The two-phase active ingredients first attack existing weeds and unwanted grasses; the herbicide penetrates deep into the roots and destroys the plants in a very short time. Since it is not selective, you can only control weeds in the lawn before sowing. The weed killer has no effect on the soil. After just two days, you can begin planting new plants or sowing seeds on the treated area. This weed killer is also suitable for treating ornamental shrubs and fruit trees against weeds and unwanted grasses. Protect Expert Permaclean Weed-Free comes in 12 sachets of dust-free granules, each containing 3.2 grams, which you can easily dissolve in 2 liters of water. The resulting weed killer can then be applied to the area to be treated and is sufficient for up to 20 square meters per sachet.
