Supports 22 AWG to 24 AWG shielded Cat8 wire (7.0-8.5mm outer diameter). Backward compatible with Cat6, Cat6A, and Cat7A connectors. Cat8 performance suitable for 10GBASE-T, 25GBASE-T, and even 40GBASE-T compatible networks (up to 30 GHz). GHMT 8-channel performance verified. Tool-free design with an open hinge for easy termination of bulky shielded cables. Connects to T568A or T568B wiring and is color-coded for easy identification. The one-piece metal housing with integrated noise-dampening cylinder minimizes EMI and RFI. Screw-on metal strain relief ensures cable integrity and shielding performance. IP20 rated. PoEand compliant with IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet (PoEand) applications. Supports 8 auto-negotiation Cat8 Ethernet cables in a hybrid network, adapting to 1GB, 10GB, or 40GB switches.
