Product information Frequently asked questions! 1. What should I do before using the bath mat? For best retention, the mat should only be fixed to a clean, smooth and unstructured surface. It is best to rinse the bath beforehand - it should be wet in any case - and then press the mat firmly onto the bath floor with your hands or - while standing firmly - press and stroke it firmly with your feet. Check that it is really tight and then you are ready to go. 2. Can the floor mat also be used with the shower drain? Yes, the oversized holes allow water to circulate and drain in an optimal way - wherever the drain is. 3. What can I do to prevent the mat from getting mouldy? Our mats are essentially made of mould resistant material and are machine washable at 30 on a gentle cycle. However, we are well aware that deposits can form under every mat that is permanently placed on the bathtub floor and that mould can form from this. We are happy to offer you a solution and strongly recommend that you rinse the mats after each use and hang them to dry on the hooks provided. You can therefore be sure of using the mat for many years with absolutely no mould! 4. How do I hang up the bath mat to dry? Attach the self-adhesive hooks, fold the mat "corner to corner" once (see picture) and hang it next to the drainage hole. If your bath is high enough, you can also hang it out of sight inside the bath. 6. Is the mat made of PVC? What about possible contaminants? Our mats are regularly tested on site by a German testing institute in accordance with Article 59, paragraph 10 of the REACH regulation, which provides a complete list of over 211 hazardous substances. They do not contain any harmful substances such as BPA or plasticisers such as phthalates. It is also latex-free and therefore also suitable for allergy sufferers or animals sensitive to odours.
