Smart Garden Tap Timer Controller

A compact, digitally controlled irrigation timer made from impact-resistant plastic, measuring 16.2 × 7.8 cm (6.32 × 3.04 inches). Designed specifically for UK garden tap compatibility (3/4" BSP), it installs in seconds without tools. Runs on two standard AA batteries (not supplied), enabling placement anywhere — including balconies, allotments, or remote corners of large gardens. The housing features enhanced UV stabilisation and sealed electronics to maintain performance through rain, wind, and variable sunlight exposure typical across England, Scotland, and Wales. Programming is straightforward: set up to six independent watering windows per day, each with adjustable duration (1–120 mins) and repeat pattern (daily or selected days). Settings remain saved during battery replacement. Supports both short bursts for container plants and extended cycles for deep-rooted shrubs — adapting to diverse planting schemes without hardware changes. Used successfully with standard garden hoses, soaker hoses, and entry-level drip irrigation kits — bridging the gap between manual watering and complex automated systems, at a fraction of the cost and complexity.
