Nickel-metal hydride batteries are the further development of NiCd technology. Compared to NiCd, they have a higher energy density (approximately twice) at the same voltage. Thanks to the low internal resistance, this battery technology is suitable for devices with high power requirements at an affordable price, e.g. for small and LED lights, toys, audio, photo and video equipment, telephones, electric toothbrushes, razors, power tools or in model making.
