Erbavoglio diatomaceous earth is a tonic used as a plant defense enhancer. Diatomaceous algae diatomaceous earth extracted exclusively from freshwater lakes free from polluting elements. Kieselgur (known as diatomaceous earth) is a siliceous sedimentary rock of organic origin, obtained from fossil residues of microalgae of the Diatomaceae family. The raw material is extracted exclusively from freshwater lakes. The powder obtained by grinding diatoms has a light color and a consistency similar to talc. The mineral composition sees a prevalence of silicon, followed by other minerals such as aluminium, magnesium, iron, calcium and traces of potassium, manganese and titanium. "Strengthening" particularities are defined as technical means of natural origin which improve and increase the natural resistance of plants against harmful organisms and abiotic damages either by stimulating the secondary metabolism of the plant to contain the attacks of pathogens and parasites or by acting as "systems of physical isolation". Use on potted plants, in the garden or in the field on crops: dilute 2.5-3% with water and spray on the plants by manual or mechanical means. avoid contact with eyes, the product may cause slight eye irritation. May cause irritation to the respiratory system, avoid breathing the powder or mixture during application. Wash off with soap and water after handling. The personnel responsible for the administration or any other handling of the dust must wear a respirator for filtering the dust and the mixture during application (compliant with EN 149 FFP2). For collection workers we recommend the use of dust masks and protective goggles (compliant with BS EN 166). Ensure sufficient air exchange and/or exhaust in workplaces. Do not eat, drink or smoke during use. If the product is wet it can be slippery. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool (15-25 °C), dry place away from direct sunlight.
