If the scratch area has dents, use plastic filler or specialized auto dent repair material to fill in until it is level. 3,Apply the Touch-Up Paint: Shake the touch-up pen up and down for at least 10 seconds before use to ensure the paint inside is well mixed. Unscrew the touch-up pen and carefully align the brush with the scratch, gently applying the paint to cover the scratch evenly. When applying, keep the tip at a 45-degree angle to the scratch and use small circular motions. If the repair area is not fully covered, wait for the first layer of paint to dry (about 1-2 hours), then apply a second layer of paint until the defect is fully covered. If you have purchased a clear gloss finish pen, wait for the previously applied paint to dry completely before using it. (Ensure the previous paint is dry before reapplying) Apply this product to minor paint damage to repair and cover the scratches. 4,Sanding and Polishing: After the touch-up paint has dried, gently sand the painted area with fine-grit sandpaper (such as 2000 grit) to smooth the transition with the surrounding paint.
