Open the bin door to empty the bin. 3. Press and lift the filter or release tab. 4. Remove the filter by grasping the yellow tab. 5. Clean the filter by tapping it gently against a trash container. 6. To reinstall, press the metal filter lever and insert the filter with the yellow tab side down. The filter door will not close if the filter is not installed correctly.
