Instructions: Step 1: Clean the surface thoroughly to ensure maximum adhesion. Step 2: Position the new rubber strip over the flat edge where the old rubber was removed, overlapping slightly onto the roof material. Use additional adhesive to enhance bonding. Ensure correct placement, as adhesive sets quickly. The new rubber has a slightly increased size where it overlaps the chrome, providing improved appearance and better weather sealing, while also protecting ing from UV exposure. This repair has been tested through various weather conditions, including UK winters and summers. Avoid high-pressure washing of the roof and new seal.
