Linden Bractées from L'Herbier de France promotes sleep and promotes good and healthy nighttime rest. In general, it is a precious ally for cleaning the body. The use of linden bark was probably so easy, especially in the spring, when it came off because the sap rose, that in old French, the lime was called tille or teille, which means “Bark”, and this name of scab was given to other barks of plants, such as that of hemp for example. A whole set of words were created from this term, to designate the small trades which use the bark: the sculler, for example designated the worker who took the bark from the lime tree, and also from the hemp.
