Sensitive Motion Sensor and Mechanical SwitchWe use Human Infrared Sensor(PIR) but not Radar Sensor, because the PIR sensor only detect the movement of objects with temperature, such as humans, small animals or cars, but Radar detect movement of any object, movement of branches may also activate the light. We use mechanical switch but without remote control, because the mechanical switch is more durable. Once remote control is lost or broken, its hard to control the light again. Installation: Locate a sunny location for the Solar Street Light. Install a 3-4 meter height pole (which is not included) with a max diameter of 75mm. Recommend 6-8 meter distance between pole to pole. The light can also be installed on wall for yard. Mount the light fixture using the metal bracket and screws. It is recommended to re-adjust the solar panel towards the sunlight directly for maximum exposure. It is recommended to place the solar panel at a suitable angle towards the sun for maximum exposure.Avoid shaded location at all cost. OPERATION: Push to turn on the Power Switch and the solar outdoor light will automatically turn on preprogrammed lighting system at night and turn off at dawn. Four preprogrammed lighting modes,press the switch to change the mode: The street light is turned on dusk to dawn with power saving mode. This setting works as street light, PIR sensor unit will not activate full power & dim mode. Green LED indicator on. The PIR motion sensor feature that automatically controls the street light output from full brightness mode to dim mode depending upon the detection of movement around the light. This fluctuation of lighting intensity preserves battery power and also serves to increase security or more illumination where lights are installed. Blue LED indicator on. The street light is only turned on when PIR sensor unit detected motion. Off during day or no motion. This mode works as security motion sensor street light. Red LED indicator on. Turn off the unit. In this mode, solar panel can still charge the battery in the presence of sunlight. Battery changing: The Lithium battery included with this product is rechargeable. Like all rechargeable batteries, however, they will eventually need to be replaced. If the light should begin to illuminate dimly or work improperly , you should replace the rechargeable batte ry in the following way: Unscrew the 10 screws and take off the back cover with power switch of the battery box gently and softly to avoid damaging the wires. Disconnect the connector attached to the battery and remove old battery. Replace with a new battery of same kind and capacity. Re-mount in reverse steps as done above. HOW YOUR SOLAR POWERED FIXTURE WORKS During the day, the solar panel converts sunlight into electricity and recharges the battery/batteries. At night, the light turn on automatically using the electricity stored during that day. The number of hours the lights stays on depends on your geographical locations, weather conditions and seasonal sunlight availability. Place the solar light fixture in an area where it can receive direct sunlight for at least 8 hours each day. Shadowed locations will not allow the battery/batteries to charge fully and will reduce the hours of nighttime lighting. The selected locations should not be near lights, as these may cause the solar light to turn off prematurely. FIRST TIME USE: Place the solar light in a location where it can receive a full 8 hours of sunlight to allow the rechargeable battery/batteries to reach maximum capacity. If the solar light has an off switch, please turn it off for the first night and allow it to charge.
