SGM / SGW Bypass Adapter This adapter enables access to advanced diagnostic commands blocked by the SGM / SGW, including: - Erasing fault codes - Launching actuator tests - Performing adaptation and coding The adapter is required for accessing diagnostic functions on 80% of 2018 and 100% of 2019 FCA models. Installation To use the adapter, replace the factory 12-pin and 8-pin connectors of the SGM / SGW module with the adapter’s connectors. The SGM / SGW location varies but is typically found in the passenger side panel near the glove compartment, behind the radio, or on the rear of the fuse box.
