Insert the battery (not included). <br>2. Remove the top cover and probe cover. <br>3. Press the "Start/Close" button to turn on the device, the "0.0%" humidity reading, temperature reading, and "scan" icon will appear. <br>4. Press the "℃/℉" button to switch between ℃ and ℉. <br>5. Press the "Picture" button to select the corresponding tree type. Tree types 1, 2, 3, and 4 represent 4 different types of trees that will be displayed on the screen. (For detailed pictures, please refer to the manual) <br>6. Insert the probe into the material about 5mm deep, and then the moisture content reading will be displayed on the screen. <br>7. When measuring, press the "Mode" button to switch between the hold/max/min mode. (Note: When pressing the "Mode" button to hold or cancel the hold reading, make sure that the hold time does not exceed 2 seconds.) <br>Continue to press the "Mode" key to clear the current value and recalculate. <br>8.
